Ben Santarris, SolarWorld
|
Ben Santarris went to work at the Hillsboro headquarters of SolarWorld Industries America as public affairs manager in late 2008. He worked the previous eight years as a business journalist at The Oregonian, the last several years as business editor. He previously worked in various news editing and reporting roles in Bellingham, Wash., Seattle, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Boston. He earned master's degrees in business administration at Western Washington University and print journalism at Boston University. He majored in French literature at Williams College in Massachusetts. Ben grew up near Corvallis. He now lives in Southwest Portland with his wife, Marietta, and two teen-age kids, Rochelle and Nino.

Dave Hansen, West Coast Bank |
Hansen is the Regional President for West Coast Bank in the Portland/Vancouver area and has been active in the banking industry in Oregon since 1982, working in both the sales and credit side of the business with The Oregon Bank which was subsequently acquired by Security Pacific Bank and Bank of America. Dave has been with West Coast Bank since 1992 and has played an integral role in expanding the Bank’s presence in the marketplace.
In addition to his banking activities, Hansen and his wife, Mary, are the founders and owners of ArborBrook Vineyards, a Yamhill County-based boutique producer of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and late-harvest Semillon. ArborBrook is committed to producing small lots of high quality wines that are sold locally through their tasting room, wine club, and through a number of National distributors. Hansen is involved in a number of wine industry-related groups, including Salud!, the Willamette Valley Wineries Association, the Yamhill Valley Visitors Association, the Chehalem Mountains Winegrowers, and the Oregon Winegrower’s Association. |

Laura Moore, Express Employment Professionals |
Joining Express Services, Inc. in 1997, Laura took on a dual role as both a staffing consultant and onsite staffing specialist at the largest client account for the Express office in Hillsboro. She was promoted to branch manager of the Express office in Beaverton, and after only one year returned to Hillsboro as the corporate branch manager, where she oversaw one of the largest Express branch offices in the region. In 2005, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and became the general manager and developer of five Express franchises. In early 2006, she returned to Hillsboro, Oregon, to become franchise owner/partner. Laura is a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle and resides here in Washington County. She plays an active role in the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and has strong community ties to the greater Hillsboro and Forest Grove areas. Laura joined the Hillsboro Chamber board in 2008 and is currently the Vice Chair for Community. She is also a Hillsboro Rotarian joining July 2007. As a Rotarian, she is a board member and participates on the board as secretary. She also sits on the School Scholarship Committee for Hillsboro Rotary. |

Georgann Helmuth, Kaiser Permanente Northwest |
In her current role, Georgann is responsible for developing and managing sales representatives and processes for Kaiser Permanente Small Group and Individual products in the Oregon and Southwest Washington marketplace to meet the performance and financial goals of the organization. She also manages Kaiser’s participation in the Oregon Healthy KidsConnect program.
Georgann first joined Kaiser Permanente Northwest in April, 2007 working in the Large Group Account Management area where she was responsible for the management and retention of Kaiser’s largest customers. She moved to her current position in March 2009. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Georgann held a number of positions in the employee benefits arena including 5 years as a Vice President at USI Insurance Services providing employee benefit consulting services to large employers throughout the Western United States; and she spent 10 years as a Sr. Sales Executive for BlueCross and BlueShield of Colorado. |

Jonae Armstrong, CSM

Jonae Armstrong joined Macerich in 2005 as Senior Property Manager of Washington Square. In addition to her duties at Washington Square, Armstrong is the current board chair of the Westside Economic Alliance, serves on the Washington County Visitors Association board, serves as chair for the Beaverton School District long range facilities plan advisory committee and is an alumnus of Leadership Beaverton.
Armstrong has over 20 years experience in the shopping center industry and has worked on a variety of projects including both super regional centers and mixed use projects. Before joining Washington Square, Armstrong managed seven different operating and development properties in Colorado and California. In addition, Armstrong was an economic development specialist for the City of Lakewood, Colorado. |
