NOTE: The Hillsboro Naturally digital photo contest will come to an end on December 31, 2007. No entries will be accepted after that date. The last quarter of the contest will cover photos submitted between Oct. 1, 2007 - December 31, 2007. The contest will continue to focus on color photos taken in Hillsboro. Particular emphasis will be put on landscapes and photos that convey the look and feel of the city and its evolution from a rural to urban environment. Hillsboro Naturally is open to unique color digital images photographed in Hillsboro, Oregon, home to Intel’s largest and most comprehensive site in the world.
WHAT TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHS ARE ELIGIBILE?
The contest is seeking striking, original, unaltered color digital images not previously published that were created solely by the entrant within the city of Hillsboro. Particular emphasis will be put on: landscapes; photos that convey the look and feel of the city and its evolution from a rural to urban environment. Images of people, pets, domestic animals or captive animals will not be accepted. The use of public domain images is prohibited.
WHAT ARE THE AWARDS FOR THE OCT. 1 – DEC. 31, 2007 SEGMENT?
FIRST PRIZE: $200 (Retail Value) Gift Card from Intel and framing discount at The Great Frame Up. (Winners must claim prizes within 45 days of notification)
SECOND PRIZE: $150 (Retail Value) Gift Card from Intel and framing discount at The Great Frame Up. (Winners must claim prizes within 45 days of notification)
THIRD PRIZE: $100 (Retail Value) Gift Card from Intel and framing discount at The Great Frame Up. (Winners must claim prizes within 45 days of notification)
MERIT AWARDS: (at the discretion of the judges): – $50 (Retail Value) Gift Card from Intel
WHO CAN ENTER?
Eligibility is limited to amateur photographers, 14 years or older, who are legal residents of the United States, except: staff members of Intel Oregon Corporate Affairs and their immediate families, employees of the Greater Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, the Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center, Oregon Community Credit Union, The Great Frame Up and their immediate families. Intel Corporation shall have the right to verify, in its sole judgment, entrant and winner eligibility. The Contest is void where prohibited.
ARE THERE DIFFERENT ENTRY AND PRIZE CATEGORIES BY AGE?
Yes. There are two entry and prize categories: (1) Age 14-18; (2) Age 19+
HOW MANY IMAGES CAN I SUBMIT?
Up to two (2) images may be submitted by a single individual during a single contest period. Individuals submitting more than the limit may be disqualified.
HOW MUST THE IMAGES BE SUBMITTED?
Images must be submitted online in accordance with the Entry Form requirements. Receipt of entries will be acknowledged. Photographs must be in a .jpeg, .jpg or .gif format. Files submitted may not be larger than 1,024k (1Mb). Complete a separate online entry form for each photo submitted. Online entries must be made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of the entry.
WHAT RIGHTS WILL INTEL RETAIN IN SUBMITTED PHOTOS?
Your entry to the contest constitutes your agreement to allow your photographs to be displayed by Intel Corporation or with Intel’s permission, utilized in calendars that may be offered for sale, used in Intel advertisements and other Intel promotional material. All entries must be free of claims and rights of third parties. Intel will not be responsible for damage to or theft of photographs.
WHAT RIGHTS WILL ENTRANTS RETAIN?
Entrants retain all other rights to future use of their photographs except as specified.
CAN ENTRANTS SELL THEIR WINNING PHOTOGRAPH?
Yes, but a purchaser must be advised that Intel Corporation retains the rights enumerated in “WHAT RIGHTS WILL INTEL RETAIN IN SUBMITTED PHOTOS?”

ENTRY FORM
GENERAL AGREEMENT: Submission of an entry to the contest automatically constitutes the contestant's acceptance of all conditions set forth in the above rules. Entries not complying with the above rules will be disqualified.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless the Greater Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, Intel Corporation and their partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder. Intel Corporation and the Greater Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to Contest entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms. Intel Corporation is not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants' or any other persons' computers related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest.
