Business After Hours is a quarterly event that provides members the opportunity to enjoy casual networking in a relaxed environment. These events are held at a variety of venues throughout Hillsboro.

The weekly networking event you’ve been asking for is here! Bring a guest and be entered to win a spotlight at our weekly Wake Up! Hillsboro! Wake Up! Hillsboro happens every Friday morning from 8:00 to 9:00 A.M. Check Chamber Calendar for weekly locations. The Chamber Ambassadors invite all members and guests to attend these programs.

Despierta! Hillsboro
Following a similar agenda to that of Wake Up! Hillsboro, you can expect a morning of fun, lively and interactive networking. If you are looking to get connected with the Latino community, please join us for this monthly bilingual networking event every second Wednesday of the month. Bring a guest and double your chances to win a mini-spotlight presentation and a door prize. There is no charge for this program.

Chamber Business Forum
The Chamber's Business Lunch Forums are held from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Glenn and Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center, 527 E. Main Street in downtown Hillsboro. Cost is $17 for members and $20 for guests. Learn more about becoming a Forum Series Subscriber.

Building Your Business
If you are growing your business or just looking to build skills, join us on the third Wednesday of each month from 11:30 to 1:00 P.M. These presentations cover a variety of topics that may help you reach a new level of success with your business. Cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.

The Seven Secrets of the Smart Start
Entrepreneurs ready to make their business idea a business reality shouldn’t miss “The Seven Secrets of the Smart Start,” a free program scheduled for the last Thursday of the month from 8:00 to 9:30 AM.  The chamber has partnered with Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to present this quick, fast-paced business basics workshop.  Come learn how to get a smart start and walk away ready to begin your next business endeavor.  There is no charge for this program.

SCORE Business Counseling at the Chamber
Every Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM by appointment, business owners, managers and entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to conveniently receive one-on-one SCORE business counseling at the chamber.  Providing an excellent and valuable business resource, Mr. Len Van Regenmorter has available and regular office hours to help you with your business needs.  SCORE counselors are experienced business owners and executives who have accumulated a lifetime of knowledge in a variety of various specialty fields and can help ensure success the success for your new or existing business.  There is no charge for this service.

Job Seekers Support and Networking
The program is held every Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Hillsboro Chamber. Participants will learn how to fine tune their resume to truly reflect their skills and experience, incorporate key words to get identified by online searchbots, and develop their interviewing techniques.
