Grandma's Garden, a nursery & gift barn made from a little two acre farm with a cute pink farm house, and huge barn. Come enjoy this park like setting on Friday, May 2 starting at 10:00 A.M. There will be live piano music, drawings for gorgeous pottery & plants, food and always great coffee.

The Hillsboro Farmers’ Market, one of the longest running "true" producers' markets in the Northwest, will open its twenty-sixth season in Downtown Hillsboro on Saturday, May 3rd. The Hillsboro Farmers’ Market @ Orenco Station on Sundays will open for its sixth season on Sunday, May 11th.
The Hillsboro Saturday Farmers’ Market will be open every Saturday from May 3rd through October 25th, 2008 from 8 am to 1:30 pm in historic downtown Hillsboro. The market is a traditional “producers” Farmers’ Market with fresh local produce, flowers and garden products direct from local farmers and growers, specialty foods & baked goods, arts & crafts, live music from local Northwest musicians and educational information from various community groups. The market features over 110 vendor booths located on Main Street between 1st & 2nd Avenues (closed to auto traffic during the market), in the beautiful outdoor plaza area of Hillsboro’s Civic Center, the courthouse sidewalk area, and along 2nd Avenue between Lincoln & Washington streets. The weekly live music performances will feature jazz, blues and other musical genres in the Civic Center’s outdoor plaza. The market is located one block from MAX light rail.

The Market was founded in 1981 by the Downtown Hillsboro Business Association and is managed by market manager Patrick Rossetti. The Hillsboro Farmers’ Market is part of the “Hillsboro Sister Markets” including the Hillsboro Saturday Farmers’ Market in Historic Downtown Hillsboro, the Hillsboro Farmers’ Market @ Orenco Station on Sundays and the Hillsboro Tuesday Marketplace (June – August).

The Hillsboro Farmers’ Market @ Orenco Station on Sundays is a sister market to the Hillsboro Saturday Farmers Market in Downtown Hillsboro, and will open for its 5th season on May 11, 2008. It will run every Sunday through October 5, 2008 from 10 am to 2 pm, and is located in the parking area at the Orenco Station retail area between Orenco Station Parkway and NE 61st Avenue, just off Cornell Road (two blocks from the Orenco Station MAX light rail top). The Hillsboro Farmers’ Market @ Orenco Station on Sundays will feature similar fresh local agricultural food and garden products, specialty foods & baked goods, arts & crafts, live music and educational information to the Hillsboro Farmers’ Market in downtown Hillsboro.

From Hillsboro: East on TV Hwy/8 to Millikan Blvd. Left on Millikan Blvd, go 1/2 mile. Cross railroad tracks and turn right at first driveway. Kingstad is directly to your left as you enter the driveway.
Public Transportation: Take the MAX Light Rail's Blue Line to the Beaverton Creek station. Walk southwest on 153rd Avenue to Millikan Way. Turn Right onto Millikan Way. The Kingstad Center is four blocks from the station, approximately a 6 minute walk.
Plenty of FREE parking is available at the Kingstad Center.
The Washington County Department of Assessment & Taxation would like to invite you to attend an informative presentation on Business Personal Property Tax. Syndi Gates, Personal Property Program Analyst, from the Oregon Department of Revenue, will provide some very useful information on a variety of Personal Property topics as well as some frequently asked questions that we encounter here at the County level from taxpayers and professionals like you.
These sessions will be held on Wednesday, May 21st in the Public Services Building auditorium at 155 N 1st Ave, Hillsboro. We are located at the very end of the MAX line in Hillsboro. Parking can be limited at times so we encourage using public transportation if at all possible. Please try to arrive 15 minutes early to sign-in. We are hoping to allow some time at the end of each session for a short question & answer period.
